Text Box: Squad 31 is a very important piece of apparatus for LFD.  This truck is our primary EMS response vehicle.  It contains all EMS equipment needed to perform the FIRST RESPONDER service.  It is a 1967 Ford F-350 Dual wheel chasis with a utility box. Squad 31 also rolls on all fire calls in the village.  Squad 31 is our “equipment back-up”  so to speak.  It carries a multitude of tools from fire/rescue, to water rescue, extra SCBA bottles, and the like.
This truck also has very old roots with the village and the department.  The original monies for the truck were donated to the village by the firefighters for its purchase, NEW in 1967.
Text Box: Engine 32 is the departments second out engine.  It is always stationed in the village in the event Engine 31 is on a mutual aid response, or out of the district.  Engine 32 is a 1974 Ford Bean Custom Cab, it was originally purchased by the village and is currently still in use.
